Endocavity Needle Guide for Philips
The endocavity needle guide for Philips ultrasound transducers allows the physician to carry out the procedure with greater speed and precision. These guides attach firmly to the probe and have been designed to work with a variety of Philips ultrasound transducers. Since they reduce the number of attempts to hit the target area, needle guides are an ideal tool for biopsies, egg retrievals, aspirations, and more. They are instrumental in facilitating greater precision by holding the needle firmly in place and ensuring it follows the direction of the ultrasound. The guide will also prevent the needle from bending.
Philips Needle Guides Improve Patient Safety
The endocavity needle guide for Philips provides a way for clinicians to improve patient safety and comfort. The risk of hitting unwanted or critical areas is reduced due to the heightened accuracy it provides the physician. Therefore, this results in fewer attempts and reduces procedure time.
Philips needle guides are disposable, single-use tools that are not meant to be reused. They are made sterile and are effective at combatting healthcare-acquired infections. They should be disposed of in accordance with CDC guidelines. An added benefit of single-use needle guides is the elimination of the disinfection process which does not add to the medical staff’s workflow.
